About Me
I have been developing my skills as a sculptor since 2011 when I began taking classes in wood and stone carving at The Art Students League of New York.
During this period I have also supplemented my technical knowledge with outside coursework and training in woodworking. In addition, my explorations have led me to pursue a range of other materials including metals, plastics, paper, and lighting. These educational experiences have cemented my commitment to sculpting and helped me clarify my own particular artistic approach.
This current chapter in my creative life is built upon a foundation of arts education* along with decades of work experience in television, print, and the classroom. My sculptures are the culmination of a lifetime’s spiritual journey and the avenues of thought and feeling that have propelled me along the way. In the coming years as I develop as a sculptor I aim to widen the inroads to my imagination and discover new ways to imbue raw materials with meaning and spirit.
